"The Tension of Emptiness"
48 in. X 24 in.
Available June 2006

Since 1973, Lee Baldwin has pursued original design directions for painting and for art glass windows, evolving a unique style emphasizing the three-dimensional and spatial relationship of forms.

This contemporary art is notable for originality of concept and cleanliness of line.

Writing for The Eugene, Oregon Register-Guard in 1979, arts columnist Fred Crafts asserted:

"Lee Baldwin has created a new design idiom in contemporary art glass, with his ability to produce three-dimensional illusions and spatial relationships of forms in flat glass"

Most of these works are placed in collections. Artworks noted as "available" await your buying pleasure.

If you must know, I am not related to Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin, or James Baldwin. The two former because they are not nearly as good-looking, the latter because I am not nearly the writer that he was. Sorry. Many people ask me about that... I am simply the famous artist, Lee Baldwin, and I'll settle for that.
